I'm Andie - the brain, hands and creative energy that lies behind Hey Neighbor Design.
Born and raised outside of Chicago, I take "Midwest nice" seriously and believe everyone deserves a seat at the table and a Country Crock container of leftovers when they leave.
I am a Senior Designer & Illustrator with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I have worked on projects ranging from brand design for small startups, to packaging design that now sits in multiple major retailers across the country, to custom commission illustrations for individuals. I’ve crafted designs that have come to life on screen and on shelf with dynamic, visual storytelling.
I thrive in the multifaceted role of a designer who is not just a creative mind, but a strategic partner, collaborator and supporter of businesses in the ideation and execution of critical creative projects.

Process
Discovery
It all starts with a handshake. We connect to learn as much as possible about your vision, story and goals. Together we define your needs and how we will achieve them. Then kicks off extensive market research and inspiration gathering to lay our groundwork for the project.
Development
Next, we get to work! This is where experimentation and crafting begin during rounds of design phases and revisions. If design is a conversation, this is where we solidify what we are trying to say to your customers, clientele and the world and translate it into a dynamic Visual Identity. Here we always relate back to our North Star goals.
Delivery
This is no Midwest goodbye, but still an important send-off phase of your project. We ensure that you are set up for success with brand guidelines, print-ready files, printer recommendation and support, and a promise that are door is always open if you ever need help in the future.
I am your designer, your collaborator to bounce ideas off of, your cheerleader during your successes and your ear to listen during your trouble-shooting. Creating great art involves active engagement between designer and client - I will work with you every step of the way in order to achieve our goals.
